If you want to test you modeling skills and reach your limits, Mirage Hobby''s 1:48 scale Halberstadt CL.II could be the test bench you are searching for. The level of detail of the kit is simply astonishing!

Thanks for the review Andy ! It's like a miniature WNW kit for us 1/48 fans .

Those are some nasty sink marks in the cylinders though .........

Lozenge doesn't look too bad either , looks like they tried to get close to the Microsculpt offerings . Still though a far better attempt then Roden's lozenge so my hat goes off them on that .

So how about a build review Andy ?

Hi Terri

just ask Rowan how far his Halberstadt is progressed ..... not sure Jean-Luc will build this crate (I have mine in the works but I am not sure either if I will finish it ....) but as said it is a nice package ... I bought the Karaya Cl.IV as an addition and their instructions are faaaaar worse, though the resin and ready to go MG coolers are a great feature

Mark, I just looked up your Blog and will use it as a guide

all the best

Another fine issue from Mirage. The lozenge does not look bad either.

The last picture in your photo section. Are those in-scale templates for cutting the lozenge?
