Hey guys I want to build the Antonov in Afghanistan with a cargo load of a BTR Can anyone recommend a kit?
Also I need information on what the Antonov could carry. Thanks

I have 2 Roden kits, very good quality.
I know A-model and Eastern Express have other versions.

The AN-12 could air-drop loads of up to 10 000 Kg and carry loads up to 20 000 Kg says Antonov AN-12 Cub . I'm pretty sure that a BTR could have been carried. The Roden kit is the only one available in 1/72. This is okay, because it's quite nice, and provides markings for 2 different AN-12s which served in Afghanistan.
There's a resin 1/144 kit available from Rus-Air that looks quite nice if I could get past the price...
