Can a pre block 152 60G be grey rather than three colour camo

Yes, the color change and Block 152 upgrade were independant of eachother. Some (very few) were painted before the upgrades as they went through depot maintenance. Most AFSOC Gray ones have at least some of the Block 152 upgrades though.

If you want it to be historically accurate, and it seems like you do, your best bet is to find a picture of the helicopter you want to model and copy it as close as you can.
