I am building the Mirage PZL 37b and I was wondering if there is an English translation anywhere available for the kit. I managed to do some with a Polish/English dictionary. BUT, it did not help on "technical" notes in the plans. Thanks

Hi capnjock

That's odd, the instructions in my kit are bi-lingual Polish/English. I can send you a scan if it would help :-)

All the best

Hi penpen

Well I really liked the one I tackled. :-)

The only real glitches I remember were:
1. The photo-etched instrument panel was too big to fit in the cockpit - even with heavy thinning down the fuselage, I still had to trim the panel.
2. The decals were a bit fragile and needed some help snuggling into the corrugations without silvering.

I did some rescribing around the fuel-tank on the underside of the fuselage but, basically, no problems. :-)

I'd post a pic but the kit is sitting on my "Shelf of Shame"... i.e. it's basically finished, but I got distracted and moved on...

All the best

The kit is well detailed with nice interior stuff. However, the fit of the flight deck and bulkheads in between the fuselage shells is not good (much sanding is required). The engines, nacelles and prop asseblies fit well. The plastic seems a little soft (but that could just be me). My kit does not have any photo etch or mylar even though the instrument panel sure looks like something is supposed to be there. So far, the only rough spot has been the flight deck. I am enjoying this build.

Ooops!!

Sorry, guys... I must have been sniffing too much paint thinners!! #:-) I've muddled up the Mirage's PZL 37 with their newer PZL 11! #:-)

I thought this thread was getting weird - first different instructions, then no etched-metal...

Now I'll go and write my 100 lines...

In future I must read posts more carefully before answering.

Capnjock, I don't have this kit, but if you can scan the instructions and send them to me, I can help you with translation.

Merlin: Thanks for the offer to help anyway. I do appreciate the effort. I am sorry for the late replay but one must work to pay for this hobby (passion?) of ours.
Vodnik: I will try to scan these instructions to you this weekend if possible. I have not scanned anything into this site before so it will definately be an adventure.
