The DH.9a ‘Ninak’ (Nin = 9, ack = A) entered front line service with 110 Sqn Independent (strategic bombing) Air Force (IAF) of the Royal Air Force (RAF) at the end of August 1918. And now Wingnut Wings gives us their 1:32 rendition of this hallmark in aviation.

Great review as usual Stephen. Excellent breakfast time reading. Not a kit I'm looking to get but clearly as your review says full of WNW magic.

Stephen has corrected the review in relation to my comments so I have deleted my initial post. The kit well deserves the high score in the review.

Reading your review Stephen I wonder if there was a mixup in the mail and somehow you received a Roden DH9 inside your WNW Ninack box?
My WNW Ninack is very different to yours. It is not 'quite cleanly moulded' - the standard is much better than that, its really very good. It has no flash to speak of and it actually has rib tapes depicted on the flying surfaces and they are very nicely done in usual WNW fashion.
You are in a very influential position as a reviewer and readers all around the world will be making decisions based on your notes. Wingnut Wings' Ninack deserves a better review. Methinks you owe them an apology.
James you are right. I did go back an "fix" a couple of words about the same time you began writing your comments here. By the way a 96 is one of the highest ratings I have ever given. I look forward to seeing your review of the same kit here.
