Gordon,
I asked the same question in November; check out my subject "Woodgrain Decals" on Page 6 dated 17 Nov 2010. As always got some great feedback and lots of perspective from our fellow Early Aviation folk. I purchased the Aeromaster product for my Roden Alb. DIII however still haven't decided whether to use it or go with the myriad of hand brushing techniques well proven and detailed on this site. I get the impression that the SPADA Products are probably the best choice if going the decal route however as mentioned I havn't actually tried the stuff I have yet. (still another few weeks to go to retirement and a vast re-alignment of priorities and time management!)
I recieved some good and some bad feedback on my query; will let you know the results if I do use the Aeromaster product mentioned. On cursory examination they look great however if one loses/botches one section, it's "over" until another sheet arrives; rather intimidating to say the least!

Cheers,

I spent a lot of time and effort to solve this problem and created a system.
This is what came out:
http://www.uschivdr.com/

Is it of any help?

Let me know.

Best

Alex
