I am crushed. I pre-ordered the Wingscale 1/35 B-25 through Sprue Brothers in October. The release date was originally set for the early part of this year. Today, I read a message on the Sprue Brothers site telling the reader that Wingscale cannot deliver the product and does not know when it will be able to do so. Sprue Brothers offered to return the pre-order money. I followed their instructions and received the payment within hours! Dang fine group of people. I was drooling over the B-25 and darn near in seventh heaven over the future B-17G.....but, alas, I don't think we are going to see any of them.
Too bad

Hey D.J., It seems on an earlier post that Wingscale got snookered on the dealing they were setting up with a manufacturer and someone else got the golden egg they worked so hard to produce. The B-17 also. Very sad news as I was looking forward for them also. Because of the underhanded acts dumped on Wingscale, I wont purchase them when they come out from the creeps who did the dirty deed. I hope beyond hope that the fellow at Wingscale some how gets his hard work returned and that he'll be able to get his rewards for all he put into them.

Can the earlier posters please correct the company name to Wingscale. Otherwise these posts could generate some pretty unpleasant rumours, by dragging an unrelated company into this,
Cheers,
Bill.

Cheers Bill
I think I've caught the typos - the similar names are easy to confuse.
All the best

I agree with Bill, let's please properly refer to the Wingscale issue, not Wingnut. I personally will now, knowing what I know at this time, NEVER purchase any of the products that were apparently higraded by Wingscale's Chinese "partner". Although I do not know the details, it would be nice to hear the other side of the story to make a final informed purchasing decision. However, if it is true that Wingscale was cheated or otherwise unfairly treated, MY personal purchasing decision will stand. Further, I will NOT read or respond to any posts about them. Just my opinion. Jim

Count me as confused by you and Bill's input. I assume you are referring to the referenced thread noted in an earlier response to my posting. If so, I did not see anyone refer to this as other than the WingScale Company based in Holland. I also do not understand why you do not wish to participate in a discussion on the matter, but that again is your decision. As for me, I would like for anyone with some knowledge of who is going to come out with a 1/32 B-25 or B-17 to let me know. If and when it comes out it is going to be a beauty. I am going to Holland on business in July and will check WingScale's store for details. A final point, the fine folks at Sprue Brothers refunded my deposit within hours, great folks to deal with.
Let you know what happens when I get back from Europe.

Yeah just checked it out too, God Damned Chinese business practices these business people(Chinese business, NOT Chinese people in general) don't seem to have scruples or ethics. Selling toys to the USA that can injure/kill little kids, pet food that has poison in it, God alone knows what's in there plastics they sell. Way to go USA for making them a trusted trade partner!!!!!
Yeah I feel for the Wingscale owner Martin in Holland, Robbed by those criminals, err, Business people in China.

I think you should read the announcements again. He did not blame then at all for the problems.
