I Was glancing over the Tamiya Japan page and saw this...

I'm not a big aircraft modeler but I did Tamiyas ME-262 w/kettenrad. And this one looks pretty nice too (not to mention very cool).

wow really cool. thats fw plane it was a late war air craft.
the germans did not get to use this plane but it still cool.

I like that as well, moreso even than the Me-262.
Interesting subject that clealy influenced the design of later jet fighter aircraft, most notably the MiG-15.

Yo're in luck! :-) The Tamiya Ta 183 has been out for quite a while and, in fact, it's a re-release of the AMTech kit (althoughTamiya have added their Kettenrad & a pilot). :-)
You'll probably find the AMTech kit is a lot cheaper in the US. Check out Hobby Link Japan for cheap Tamiya prices...

My girlfriend got me one for my birthday back in January. It's a great kit, builds up very nicely and the Kettenkrad just adds that little bit extra. I built mine in a few hours and it's near the front of my Miniature Aircraft Museum on my shelves
