hi there, does anybody out there know anything about the markings on the dak that clark gable owned, i can only find the reg number. pics on the net seem to indicate lettering above the windows but i cant find any reference to them.

or search under DC 3 , not Dakota. Only you Brits knew them as Dakotas. In the US they are DC 3s, R4Ds (US Navy), or C 47s or "Gooney Birds." Evidently its in a museum in Italy.
