Hi, Dani! I always loved Mr. Heinkel's project... I will follow your progress. I plan to build this myself, so please share the assembly problems (if there will be any!)

I agree, the Heinkel 280 is at least as good looking at the Messerschmitt 262!

I would like to see a nice 72 scale offering of this kit out for myself. Keep up the good work. Russell

Hi Entoni, it´s an excellent kit. Up to now I didn´t have any assembly problem. As you can see I practically don´t use putty.

Hi Rusell, thank for follow the project. I don´t think there is any good 1/72 kit of this plane and as I know this is the only in 1/48. It´s an Eduard old kit, but excellent.

Huma did a 1/72 kit, with options for Heinkel 008, Jumo 004 or the unpowered glider version. It wasn't what you'd call superdetailed, but it looks good once it's completed. I'm not sure how available it is these days.

I built the Hirth engined version and found that the kit went together beautifully. I did replace the seat with the quickboost He 162 seat. Set off the office quite nicely. One of my quickest builds.

Hiya, Daniel!
Nice looking Heinkel- can't wait to see it get the Candal color treatment.
Cheers!

Looks smooth

Did you try to fit the light in the leading edge? My experience tells me there're always some problems with accuracy and fitting in this place.

Wow! I had no idea Eduard made a 1/48 He 280. I'm going to have to try tracking one of those down.
Yours is looking very good, Daniel.
