I am looking for some information about English Landbased Swordfish Floatplanes during WW2. This may be an active squadron of a repair facility. I have seen a picture somewhere (can't seem to find it again) of a shelter somewhere near the English coast which could house 2 or 3 Swordfish Floatplanes.
I like the idea very much and would like to model this scene. Can anyone help ?? (any info is welcome)
Thanks in advance,
Marc

Hi Marc
Well I've found a pic to prove that float-equipped Fairey Swordfish certainly came ashore. :-)
Unfortunately the location isn't given. Maybe it's Calshot or Lee-on-Solent... or possibly Cowes? Can anybody help?
All the best
