here are some pics of my recently finished TF-104G in Luftwaffe markings.
Before someone might say "this is not Luftwaffe usual Norm 62 splinter camo, this is Marineflieger camo!!" I have to answer: Stop!

This Starfighter really flew in the mid-eighties. There are two pictures of it in the F-40 "Flugzeuge der Bundeswehr" profile about the TF-104G. I was very glad when I found the special zappings of this plane on the DACO sheet.

I do not know the exact background of this plane, but obviously Jagbombergeschwader 34 in Memmingen received this TF from the Marineflieger which were replacing there Starfighters with Tornados at that time.

This particular trainer received a Zapping during a Decimomannu training campaign 1984. Decimomannu airbase on Sardinia is very often visited by Luftwaffekommandos for weapon training. Furthermore, it bears Luftwaffe-camo tip tanks marked with the Edelweiß-badge of the second squadron of JaboG 34.

Hope you like my Starfighter. Comments & questions welcome!

Sebastian
