Im building a P-38J for my dad.

I want this to be a really nice build.

I need some advice on the following:.

Which one is the best? I can purchase them for around the same price, so cost isn't an issue.

Brand: LEGEND Item # LF4020
TRUE DETAIL set # 49008
AIRES set # 4113

I have found a good review of the TD set online, but haven't had any luck with the Legend or Aires sets.


Any help would be much appreciated, images, personal reviews etc.

I can recommend the Legends set, very nicely detailed and the fit of the parts is excellent. Just be careful, some of the parts are fragile.

I used the true Details set in mine without any trouble. It's simple, straightforward, very easy to install and looks far superior to the kit supplied detail.
