Revell''s C-160 was first released a few years ago and is about to come out again. It''s an excellent kit - and Sean Langley [ PIGSTY ] looks at the original edition.

Thatīs a really nice kit! I have bought mine in 2006. Unfortunatly,iIt is still unbuilt...
I think we should be happy that a mainstream manufacturer produces such a kit.
I really like the decals because they cover the first half of the "Trallīs" service period in the Luftwaffe with the basaltgrau/nato olive/aluminium colors. Even a dayglo variant can be made. Unfortunately the current lizard scheme is not possible, but maybe Revell will reissue this kit soon with different decals.
Servus,
Sebastian

Some news about the Revell Transall: Revell is about to re-issue the Transall kit with new parts to depict updated German C-160s (new ECM equipment) and the French NG (Nouvelle Generation = new generation, new built French C-160s). See Revell website for more information: www.revell.de).
