I'm buiding the Revell 1:48 Apache Ah-64a, and going along nicely, and started working on putting the cockpit together, only to find out the armored seats do not fit in the tub. The seats have sort of set of handles for sliding in, but a block at the bottom of the slides on the tub stop it from entering all the way. Then the armor frame itself does not fit in tub itself. Never had this happen to me in all honesty? Any idea on how I can proceed?

I have never built his kit, but I suspect that the seats are sitting where they're supposed to. I don't think they're supposed to go right down to the floor. Take a look at this picture:
Note how the bottom edge of the seat appears to be well above the side consoles. IIRC, you get pilot figures in that kit, yes? Try a test-fit with one and see whether it looks like the picture.

Honestly I haven't. I'll take one off the sprue and see if he can reach the pedals.
