I will try to convert Monogram's 1/41 (1965) Cessna-180 kit to U-17 used by Turkish Land Forces.
I found it on Ebay. This is the box art:
These are the modifications to do:
* Cowling's shape.
* Propeller blades must be longer.
* Windows.
* Vertical stabilizer's shape.
Challange begins !...

Looks very nice,but i think you should have glued the fuselage and wings before painting,wont there be a seam after you join them?
Kind regards,Sven.

Fuselage halves and cowling didn't fit very well. After a lot of work of puty and sanding it became like this. Now I'm working on vertical stabilizer.

Hi cetinsarf
It's really a big project.
Vice nice work.
But maybe the interior is a little rough?
waiting for your next step.

A little late coming to this "party", but FANTASTIC build!! I was searching for pics of the Cessna 180, so I can work on my same kit, and found your thread. I like the extra stuff you did on your kit, so I need to do the same on mine. I am doing my kit in Thai markings, and have almost finished rescribing the wings & fuselage. (What a chore!) Now to do the mods you did, as well.
