Thats gorgeous.
Probably my favourite 8th Air Force P-51 scheme.
The control tower at Martlesham Heath where the 356th were based is now a fabulous museum covering the long history of that airfield and well worth a visit.

It happens like that sometimes, views into the thousand plus region and no comments.Don't worry about it
I thought you might enjoy a little "then and now".
These are views from the control tower at Martlesham taken 66 years apart.
Eagerly awaiting the release of the 1:32 Mustang and very much spoilt for choice as to what scheme to do. I think painting those diamonds would tip me over the edge
