So I recently picked up Revell's 1/72 F-4F, which is a very nice kit i might add. But, im not interested in doing the anniversary scheme of which the kit supplies decals for, so can someone tell me the differences between the F-4E and F-4F? Is it possible to make an E out of the F kit i have? Thanks for all the help!

The differences between the -E and -F were all internal. Put an -E and -F beside each other and the only visible differences are the paint scheme and possibly some antennae depending upon electronics fit of the two particular aircraft. Your -F can easily make an -E.

The F-4E had slotted stabilators, identifiable by the upswept row of slots along the leading edge of the stabs.

The F-4F was initially purchased as a stand-off BVR shooter, not a dogfighter, so has the earlier (F-4B/C/D) unslotted stabs, with a solid leading edge.

Here's the stabs compared in kit form -
