This sounds like a good idea,but to make it really appealing to their target group,young people and adults getting their feet wet,the price would have to be right or many won't bother with it.

Wish this would have been around 20 years ago

It's on pre-order at Lyckymodel for $24 + shipping.. I suppose that's a reasonable price considering you get the tools and the CD with the kit.

I'm thinking of getting it for my 13 year old daughter.. she's been nagging me to give her a kit from my stash so she can practice on it - when she gets bored with her Playstation - but I think this set will be appropriate for her... and the CD will help me learn how to build aircraft kits
