Revell of Germany have released a de Havilland Vampire FB.5 in 1/72nd, which includes decals for two RAF aircraft.

Oh, this is such good news (especially since I sanded too much off the tail boom of my Rareplanes Vacform kit). Is this the first 1/72 injection kit of the FB5?
Shouldn't this be listed under the "Cold War" section?

If we're dividing rabbits, the Vampire's design and development were all before 1950 which is the date the categories split.

It's not a new tool (the 42 parts are a clue)- it is the 1970s Heller tooling that has been released by others, including Airfix.

My bad. For some reason I thought it was a kit of the Venom.
I wonder if Revell will ever also re-release the Heller Mistral.
