Osprey are to release two books on naval fighter pilots to achieve ace status during World War I. The first part is due out this month.

I've pre-ordered already; looking forward to this one! The Pup, Tripe, and Camel Aces versions cover some of the Naval Aces on the British side reasonably well however it's good to see the separate treatment here. Part 2 should be really good with coverage of the German MFJ's etc.
Officially Retired as of 20 August 2013 and looking forward to some un-interrupted bench time. Currently starting Roden's Nieuport 28 and hoping to follow that with another WNW Fokker DVII.

I just wish that Osprey would do a separate book on the German Marine Naval land and sea units.

I think I read, on the Osprey site, that is more or less the plan for the Part 2 release. Hope so anyway.........

My pre-order copy arrived in the mail yesterday; I've skimmed through it and it's a beauty. The usual Pups and Tripes but (new to me) color profiles of a 5 Naval DH4, some new Camel schemes, Nieuport 17bis's from 6 Naval, and Graham's Sopwith Baby. It's a very well done addition to their Aces Series in my opinion and just in time for the latter stages of my KoTS Pup build. Gets my vote however raises some contradictory color info which I'll post a question on separately.
Cheers,
Lance

Andy has been busy with family obligations so I'll be doing a review on this book in the near future.
