Can someone point me to any articles (or good books or CD's I can buy) that cover all the processes of building an aircraft kit starting from zero.. all the way up to weathering.. and shading those panel lines.. etc..

Russell has pointed you towards an excellent series of videos by Brett Green, I've watched most of them and picked up lots of tips and tricks from him! Cheers and hope they help you as much as they did for me!
