Hello everyone this is my introductory post as im normally an armor guy! I havent built a plane in a few years, im 14 and i think this was a pretty good learning expierience becaus i used a lot of new techniques ive never used on an aircraft! The next plane i thin im going to build will be Revell's 1/48 black widow, i like to build bombers and things with 2 engines with a few fighers/escorts thrown in!
Sorry about my poor photo quality, ill be making a photo booth shortly.
Oh and this is the Tamiya 1/48 kit that i got and it didnt have instructions so its build by eye and what looked right and i had to scratchbuild the seat.

Hi there Brian! A great piece of model work there! My work didn't look that good at 14! Hope to see more of your work on here. Keep it up! Russell

Hi Brian, I remember you from the Next Generation Campaign
Nice effort on the "109"
But, there are some issues that I want to point out. At first, you have to add the Antenna. You also have to do something with the camo. It looks like you need to make some more green motling, because, the current mottling is so few now. And at last, you need to correct the Asymmetrical camo on the fuselage sides!
Here is a photo of the real one to help you fix the mistakes, and I bet that your next aircraft model will be much better
Cheers Nick

Thanks guys!
Nick seeing your work with the next generation campaign made me want to give aircraft another whirl! after i took these photos i added the antenna, the camo going up on the sides is completely accidental because i got some overspray of the brown color on the fueslage and i didnt have any more blue paint and i couldnt get the mix right so i just brought it up a little! Thanks for the critique i hope i can do a little better on my p-61!

Hello Brian, Nice work on your 109. It is a nice model, especially for 14. I think that Nick's photo alone without the editorial would have been sufficient for you to notice any discrepencies. I hope you don't get discouraged because in my opinion the quality of your model is very good. The accuracy issues will work themselves out. Take care and keep on modeling!

Nice work Brian!
The only thing I've noticed looking at the photo and your model, is the lack of cannons in the wing. If memory serves, the E-4 had a MG FF 20mm cannon in each wing. Look at the picture and you'll see the protruding gun barrel. It should be a quick and easy fix and will fiinish off your model nicely.
thanks
Mike
