Hi!

I'm right now building a Revell 1:72 Spitfire and i would like to show it with his canopy opened. The problem is that the one that comes with the kit is a one piece canopy. I was thinking to cut it but i'm really not sure and really nead advice.

Thanks

Check and see if anyone has a compatible vacufoem canopy for your kit. The plastic of your kit is too thick to display well open witout major surgery. You might also want to press form a new canopy by heating a sheet of clear, thin acrylic plastic and quuickly pressing this over your kit canopy. Support the kit part on a dowel, attaching it with children's putty that doesn't harden. This will provide a clearer canpy and one that's closer to scale thickness. You can then cut it and positon it open and it will look more accurate than the kit part would have.

You could just take a razor saw and carefully saw it away from the front windscreen. And then glue them on sepretly.
