Any suggestions on how to remove applied decals from a model that have NOT been sealed? Without stripping the paint?

I've had some success soaking them up with vinegar, then peeling them off. You might also try pulling them up with scotch tape.

Micro Sol or Micro Set both advertise that they remove decals as well. You could also try applying a wet tissue to the decal and letting it soak off. What type of paint is it?
