The first victory recorded in a Fokker Triplane was achieved by Rittmeister Manfred von Richthofen when he brought down an RE 8. The crew believed the oncoming machine to be a British Sopwith Triplane. Aerobase of Japan has given us a PE strip down kit in brass.

Please note the Cowling and engine in the above image are from the DML / Dragon kit. The Aerobase item was a one piece red resin item. It was replaced with the two more detailed pieces by me.

Stephen,
Fascinating! This is something I'd love to try; certainly stand out on any shelf and no limit to the detail one could include.
Thanks for this; definitely gets the "mojo" going! I have not one, not two, but three Dragon Dr.I kits in the stash.......so it's possible I may give this a shot.
Cheers,
Lance
Officially Retired as of 20 August 2013 and looking forward to some un-interrupted bench time. Currently starting Roden's Nieuport 28 and hoping to follow that with another WNW Fokker DVII.
