Kinetic has released several variants of the F-16. This kit reviewed by Russ Amott represents the Block 40 aircraft as used by the Israeli Air Force, but has the option to build multiple variants.

Nice review, thank you! I've started on my Kinetic F-16I and noticed a couple of things to watch out for:

1. HUGE ejector towers inside the intake, under the seats, etc. Your's looks to not have them but look out!
2. Lots of mold release that makes paint run screaming. Be sure to wash the parts thoroughly before you start building.

Nice kits, but not a top-of-the-line modern company. Just a couple of words to the wise!

Even with those lower aft intake duct sprue trunks removed from later kits, the massive stubs are still there, along with the pebble shot and divots that mar the sides. The intake duct assembly is just a nasty fitting affair.

Besides the grossly over scale panel lines, absolutely no wingtip “Angle of Incidence”, and nose issue (even among the late fix kits), Kinetic misshaped just about all the EW and RWR antennas. You can use the Isra Block 40 set to correct this though.

Yeah, a mediocre kit that had so much potential.
