I can't remember if I saw something here about this already. If there is something about how to recreate the linen texture look and lozenge patterns can someone please point the way.

My 2nd WNW build once again has the lozenge on the wings. I was very happy with the looks of the Microsculpt linen texture the 1st time so I did it again. It went down easier this time since I took the extra steps of a Future coat over the lozenge. But that's just it... extra steps.

Is there an effective way to reproduce this look with paint or some technique?

Microsculpt Texturing and Lozenge

The texture can be placed over a sail / cream / off white for cdl. It can also be placed over the loz. The texture looks great. I use the 48th scale texture on 32nd scale models.

Their loz looks great also.
