I can only see a base/lazy susan wit something tiny on it red at the back and white at the front. The whole pic is only a bit bigger than an icon...

Well from that small it looks good. I bet it looks nice up close #:-)
Anyway, let us know when she is ready for full view.
I like that, Roden. Good kit.

Looking very good. I don't know anything about the wingy things. This plane looks very real to me. I like it.

Very nice. I like the color scheme on it.
The subtle panel lines on the tan(ish) part is nice.

thanks for your comments, the fuselage is wood grained,i had some stuff called ronseal paint n grain left over from decorating my house, by varying the base coat you can get a lot of wood effects, but it did cost £16 so its not cheap but if you can scrounge some its brilliant for any thing wooden. p.s. the prop is done the same with a darker basecoat

Hi almonkey
That looks beautiful! :-) Really nice paint job and wood grain effect :-)
Are the decals the ones supplied with the kit?
You could maybe try Solvaset or Super Sol... they're both pretty strong...
All the best

That's a great albatros !
You made holes in the fuselage to pass the wires ? How did you do on the wings ?

the holes out on the wings were actually through the location pegs at the top and bottom of the struts,i threaded the line through, glued it in place with c.a.,then pulled them tight before it set.in the past ive drilled holes through the wing itself, but where you can put lines through the struts you don,t have to deal with tidying up holes through the wing.the decals are the ones from the kit,i think they,re made from leather!
