The oldest kit I had in my kit stash is now built and was built O.O.B. with no changes other than the decals which had turned brown and no longer usable.
I raided my spare decal box to come up with the markings of a Zero that was based at Atsugi at the end of the war in 1945.

Those big rivets don't detract too much from the finished model as long as you don't get very close to it.
This model was fun to make and would like to get one of those fancy new Tamiya Zero kits but I have been out of work for a long time and can't afford to buy new kits right now.
Can't wait to show you guys what I have on the bench now!
