I am almost finished with a campaign build and discovered my flat coat has dried up in the bottle So my question is has any one used this method as the deadline is this weekend and I can't get a new bottle in time

Second question how does everyone preserve thier paint thanks in advance

I would not use hairspray as a top coat for giving the model a dull finish. Hairspray is really just glue in a spray can. I would think this will attract all sorts of stuff to the model surface. I use Testers Dull Coat which can be found at your local Hobby Lobby or most any fine Model Store in your area.

Justin. Let me get this straight. You let your flat clear coat go dry in the bottle, and don't have any spares, but you have plenty of HAIRSPRAY

Methinks you need a priority adjustment my friend

I'm thinking that like me when you run out or don't have something you need the wife's bathroom cupboard is a good spot to start looking for substitutes.

Given its a glueish thing, could you use hairspray to fix pigments?
