Looking into some reference material and am wondering if the Bert Kinzey books are worth my time and money? Do they offer anything I cannot find on the web. Are they necessary for doing a good detail job? Thoughts?

I find the Detail and Scale books indispensable- my copy of his Helldiver book was my primary reference for my build. I wish he did German subjects!
BTW, what subjects are you looking at?
Cheers!

Yes, Bert's Detail & Scale books are well worth having. I've got all of the aircraft volumes and they have proven invaluable as modeling references.
The internet is a wonderful thing and I use it extensively when researching a project but when it comes time to sit down at the bench and get to it, I want good old-fashioned books there with me.
Cheers,
Eric
