The yellow tailed bird is a Republic P-47N based on Iwo Jima. I did it in these colors since my dad was a Marine involved in the invasion of that island in '45.
The green bird is the Mitsubishi J2M "Jack" based somewhere in Japan in '45 as well, I don't recall where though.
My biggest problem is keeping the dust of my birds! I'm sure I'm not the only one who has this problem. Yikes!! Enjoy looking. Russell






P.S. I actually broke some of the parts in an accident with the P-47N. It was a fortunate though, because I was forced to use some P-47D parts as replacements. The best thing was I had a proper wide bladed propeller to install and then I used some run of the mill American 108 gallon drop tanks and the wheel covers for the main gear also came from the D model as well.
