Wolfpack Designs have released upgrade mixed media upgrades, well mostly resin, for the Academy 1/48 Su-30MK kit. One set is for the cockpit, another is for the wheel bays and vertical tail and finally Wolfpack have released a set just for the K-36DM seats.

I just picked up the Academy 48th Su-30 kit and it's obvious WP used the kit tub and seat for their Su-30 set. What a disappointment as the WP seats are as poor a representation as the kit seats are and the cockpit tub still too shallow. The cockpit detail doesn't looks all that much better than the new tool kit cockpit tub, which is actually decent for OOTB, BTW.
The wheel well inserts are nice though, but I’d pass on the cockpit. Not sure what the deal is with the vertical tails, as the kits ones looked ok according to my sources. I’ll take another look this weekend though.
What the Academy Su-30 really needs is a new NLG strut with the proper diameter, as the kit one is too thin.
