Admiral Models have announced the release of two new kits of the Vought F6U-1 Pirate. The Vought Pirate is not a type as far as I know that has been produced by injected kit manufacturers. Admiral Models have gone for a walk of the plank and taken the plunge by adding two versions of the Pirate, the early and the late.

That depends. If you consider Meikraft to be an injected kit manufacturer, it was done many years ago. I have one sittig on my shelf. I have a strong feeling that Admiral's kit will be much more relaxing to build though.

Well in the "do you consider it a kit" category, I've got one from Pavla with brass for both versions waiting for me to get to it.
