I was at an airshow yesterday and saw an F-18F Super Hornet for the first time on display. I have a new favorite Navy bird (sorry, Tomcat!) Has anyone built the Italeri kit of this plane? Any comments are welcome.

BTW, I shot about a dozen images of this A/C in VFA-41 Black Aces scheme. I'll get them posted asap.

I seen a pair of them here last month at an airshow in Blountville, TN. The ones they had were two seaters. They sure are a nice looking piece of machinery !!!

I bought the AMT/ERTL kit....DO NOT BUY THAT KIT! Way too much work to get a half-way descent model.

Tin Can, thanks for the heads-up. I'll do a little more research before I commit. BTW, I just got an OH-6 Loach in the mail I won on Ebay for 13 bucks...1/35 scale Vietnam ship...I'll be a little busy!
