I'm doing some research at the moment on vehicles used by the Spanish Armed forces in Sub-Saharan. Now, like always, things do tend to go off at a tangent and i've discoved these images which are worth sharing. One of the strange things, is that in virtually every image of aircraft, Iberia DC-3s also appear:

Thanks Jim for the pictures & history lesson. I saw the "Battle of Britan" movie not too long ago. It looked like the Luftwaffe was supplied by the Spanish AF. Were all the HE-111's scrapped out ? I hope that at least one was saved, somewhere. Once again, thanks for sharing and if you find more pics please post them. Tom

Although I've never been there, some friend told me that one of these Heinkels/Casa is exhibited in the Spanish Air Museum on the outskirts of Madrid.
Both the Spanish AF and the Portuguese AF had german aircraft in their inventory, although the Spanish had a far greater stock partially left overs from the Legion Condor.
