Our man Lloyd Leichentritt has be given hard news he rec'd from his doctor. Prostate Cancer at 50 years old. He has spoken about it to his friends at Facebook's Over the Front page and I would like to ask you all for your kind thoughts and prayers. I'll send Lloyd this URL so he can follow.

Please pass on our best wishes to Lloyd, Stephen.
I'm not a follower of the WW1 stuff so I don't know of him personally but the bigC has touched my family as well and I do have some knowledge of what he and his family are going through.
At least nowadays there are treatments that can be effective, and I hope this is so in his case.
Get well soon Lloyd, there are going to be a lot of people here rootin' for you.

Yep, hard news indeed. I was diagnosed with prostate cancer at 49 (2007). It was detected early enough that it hadn't spread. It runs in the family.....
I had it removed via the DaVinci robotic method of surgery. Not fun but difinately do-able. My thoughts and prayers are with him.
The latest survey shows that

I've met Lloyd and talked with him at the 2009 and 2011 Dawn Patrol in Dayton. He's a great guy and a boon to the WW 1 group. Tough news indeed, my thoughts will go to him.

Stephen,
Please pass my best wishes, thoughts, and prayers to Lloyd for a quick recovery. As Keith says, a hard battle but surmountable.
God Bless,
Lance
Officially Retired as of 20 August 2013 and looking forward to some un-interrupted bench time. Currently starting Roden's Nieuport 28 and hoping to follow that with another WNW Fokker DVII.
