I'm looking into starting casting and wondered what would everybody like to see in resin?

If you are talking kits Justin I would love to see a Hawker Tempest Mk II in 1/72 or 1/48. A very sexy beast.
All the best.

I hadnt really thought of doing kits as I imagine that can get pretty expensive on the retail side

I do mainly WWI but some of the little extra's to add character like gloves, coats flying helmets & parachute packs to drape over and around kits as little details would be nice. scaled mainly 1/32 1/48th

Will have to side with Keith on this . Would be nice to see these items as well as field equipment , this is an area which doesn't get much coverage and would aid many modellers for dressing up their kits a bit .

A cockpit and new gondola (with MG-FFs) for the Dragon 1/48 Ju 88C-6 would be really nice. What the kit supplies is a pretty half-baked attempt (more like 1/8th baked really).
Of course the windows in the gondola present some difficulties...
If you want to cast clear resin - a rear new gondola/hatch/ventral gun poistion for the earlier Ju 88s (e.g. A-1 or C-2) would be awesome since only the later one comes with the kit. The one depicted on the top of this image:

If you say this may be a start-up project let's think about something usefull, cheap and easy in production, with the potentialy large market - how about the rear parts of the engines seen on FW-190 or Ta-152's throught the landing gear bays? Just to put into the OOTB kits to make the illusion of engine presence...

How about some busts or statues for dioramas? We've all seen busts of downfallen figures among the rubble in the streets of war-torn cities: Hitler, Marx, Stalin, Tito, or Saddam Hussein, sometimes broken into pieces. Maybe you could cast some that way, and give people the option to glue the pieces together, if they want their bust to be intact.
