Greetings from Istanbul
I'm 17 years old student from Istanbul
I've been working on Trumpeter's 1/48th Hawker Sea Fury kit, it's a well engineered kit, but I hadseveral problems while I was fixing the wings and fuselage together.
Generally I like machines, designed by the british, that s why I've tried to build several Spitfires before.
There are probably many problems with my text-since I'm not a native speaker- I could not check it.

Another machine designed by the british
Triumph Tiger

and the other Spitfires

Hello there from the U.S., it's great to see your work. I agree, you have a nice area to display your models in! It is also great to see someone younger of your age modeling! Keep up the good work, it looks like you've got some very nice models already, your Sea Fury will make a nice addition to your collection. Take care, Russell

Thank you, nowadays young people are not interested for modelling anymore, If I haven't seen it from my uncle I wouldn't be interested either

I kept working on it today
I used Tamiya's Clear and Microscale's Flat Cote on it. I tried to weather it with Model Master's Chrome Silver but it didn't satisfy me at all (Actually ı think I've ruined the model after that)
I have to learn how to do that otherwise I'm going to keep ruining models

Hey Berk your build looks fine.

I'm not a fan of weathering myself, particularly on aircraft and especially on modern aircraft but yours does have a nice look to it.

Nice work on the panel lines too.

I covered the chipped paint with a thin layer of RAF Ocean Gray, I tried to correct the Invansion stripes too.It seemed much better to me? What about you?

Don't think of it as ruining a model, think of it as giving yourself the opportunity to go out and get another one

Personally, I liked the one with the chipping etc., but the retouched model looks excellent as well.

17 you say? Damn you will be good when you grow up!!

Like the others said Berk both takes on your model look fine. At the end of the day as long as you are happy is all that matters.

I must remember Jessie's "Glass Half Full" spin on modelling disasters, I'll be needing it I reckon.

It's pretty much done.I post-shaded panel lines with tamiya smoke instead of washing

Looks great Berk.

Metalik dökülmelerin yerlerine biraz daha dikkat etmen lazım. Genelde bakım personelinin yürüyebileceği veya açılıp kapanan kapaklara yoğunlaş.
