I'm thinking of getting this Hobbyboss 1/32 Spitfire MK.Vb.. but I was wondering if any of you guys can give me some opinions about the kit.. Not too worried about accuracy and all that.. but I was wondering if the parts fit is good? Is the build fairly simple or complicated? I'd appreciate any opinions.
Thanks
Hisham

There is a full build on the review pages of Fine Scale Modeler magazine web site. I think this will help. Article was posted 10-05-11.

Thanks for the tip, but unfortunately I couldn't register in order to see the content of the reviews... they have every single country you can think of listed.. but not Egypt!! Oh, well...

Hasham,
I've almost completed my Hobby Boss kit, which I have built as the 2nd option.
The kit is more like collection of sub assemblies, and the the fit is good in most of the assembly with very little filler to hide the seam lines, one thing is the lower wing decals are a little tricky to put in place, the inner wing flaps have no upper cover {just an open hole into the fuselage}. The instrument panel face is a decal.
Hope the pix help you a little with your project.

Thanks a lot for the reply, Rob, and for the pics. sounds like it's a pretty good kit with no major problems.
Cheers
