Hi Guys
I'm just wondering would there be any interest in a conversion of the Extended Exhaust system for Israeli A4 Skyhawks?
The conversion is 1/72 and designed for the excellent series of Fujimi kits.
Myself and a friend have produced an accurate and simple one piece conversion and we are considering a short run series of resin casts to cover the costs of our little adventure. perhaps on evil bay
I'll update this thread over the next few weeks if there is credible interest.
We are just in the final stages of the design.
Maybe this might interest some of you, I dunno?
Would love some feedback..
Roy

Sounds good Roy, the extended exhaust is certainly an important distinguishing feature of Israeli A-4H's.
All the best with the project.

I believe Hobby Boss are bringing out some A-4's in 1/72. I don't know yet whether any of them will be Israeli but I thought you might like to know.
thanks

Hey
just a quick update
I and my collegue have produced the first resin casts last night, these are just prototypes to see how everything fits before we go ahead with the production line.
I've removed the parts from their sprues and attached them to the Fujimi Fuslage.
I've primed this section to illustrate the engraved lines and raised panels.
(there is even engine detail on the interior end of the exhaust)
Please be aware these parts are glued to the fuselage WITHOUT FILLER, SANDING OR ANY CORRECTION.
so you can see everything fits well
Also the photos have been taken with a high rate pixal camera with an excesive flash so they are showing up all sorts of blemishes unseen by the naked eye..
Below are photos I found on the net of the real deal for comparison;
Thus far the conversion comes in 3 parts;
(1) Exhaust Section
(2) Underside Parachute Housing
(3) Port & Starboard "bumps"
see these sections below;
Construction could'nt be easier!
Just remove the old exhaust deflector section (as seen below)
then fit the EXTENDED EXHAUST and additionals parts straight on, its that easy
I'll post more photos during the week of the sprues themselves,
in the meantime if you have any questions or comments please leave them here.
