When is Tamiya going to release their 1/48 B-17? I havn't heard anything about it in a long time!

I have heard that this is just a rumor. I wish it were true.

THATS some rumor and i hate rumors like this lol
i would love to see them make a b-17.
i bet it would be 50 bucks but worth it

Hi there

I don't know about Tamiya, but there is, supposedly, a new B-17 coming in 1/48 scale... from Mirage in Poland.

Who knows how it'll compare with the old Monogram classic, but it's an ambitious move for any company to tackle something this big - the costs must be enormous , and it could make or break them.

I think that it would be a welcome sight to some of the guys that Have built the Monogram one a couple of times. Hopefully it will be worth it!
