Someone at Scale Rotors says Revell intends to repop their 1/48 Wessex heli next year. That's good news to hear, as I love Vietnam War subjects.

04652 1/32 Westland Lynx MK88/HAS Mk2 Helicopter

Is due out in late April, but I haven't seen anything regarding the one you are referring to from the dealer sheets I get from them.

Apparently the Choctaw/Seabat is a bit different, which is too bad because it seems like more air forces used these US versions than the Wessex. Still, it's a 1/48 heli, so I can't complain too much.

From what I remember, they use to have the H-34, but modified the molds to do the Wessex, many years ago. I use to have their 1/48Th H-34 kit years ago, but sold it to another modeler. I bought it for a song and dance, he bought it for an arm and leg.
Hopefully some enterprising resin company will do a conversion kit to go back to the H-34.

It would be nice to see an S-58T conversion as well.
