I sent off for this MiniCraft 1/144 B-377 Stratocruiser, hoping that a different subject would break the modeling block I've been suffering.
Started just setting it together to get a sense of its scale, and Whoa!!! Hey! This might not work out so well.
Now I'm wondering if I should contact MiniCraft and try to squeeze a correct sprue out of them, or just put out for another kit and hope the right stuff is in the box.

Minicraft is very good about responding to requests like this. Last time I needed parts they charged me a nominal fee, but I got the correct parts. Contact Sharon: sharon(at)minicraftmodels(dot)com

Maybe you could make a "push/pull" out of it!
I bought this push/pull on purpose.

I did email Minicraft as Jessica suggested. They responded very quickly and in a posiitve way. Hopefully, my replacement sprue will land in the mailbox soon.
Hats off to Minicraft, so far. I'm very happy!

You know; I should just go ahead and build this thing for the "What If Campaign".
What if they really were working on a secret weapon?
What if this kit really depicts the "B-377 Stratocruiser Mk.II?
What if the engineers were totally drunk when they built it, and were reading the plans upside down?
What if they were just stone-cold drunk and didn't care about the plans?
Seems to me, it would make a fairly good "What If" entry.

I agree, it would definitely be a unique piece and there are innumerable possibilities for the background story to it.
