Hi All,
as in the previous years I can now post the news from Revell's (Germany) press conference for 2012.
Some exciting stuff for large scale fans. 48scalers like myself have at least the new Ventura (Dieter Wiegmanns model also posted on my site) and some re-issues.
Here is the
Revell news list 2012A happy new year to all! and always some minutes to build a kit
all the best
Steffen
P.S. Modellversium will probably publish prices and some pix too

A very close second goes to the Ventura, but nightfighters always draw me in, especially big twin-engine units. I have pre-ordered the 1/32 P-61 from Wing-XL, and the He-219 would make a great side-by-side display with it. Best I start building a new room !
Cheers, D

The Ventura from Revell USA should be hitting the shelves very soon, if it hasn't already. Part of their December releases. Picking mine up for the shop tomorrow.
Thanks!

Cheers Steffen
That's a great line-up - I'm definitely looking forward to the Ventura, He 219 and Bf 109G-6. If the latter really is a new tool, it confirms my prediction that a new one would probably be released soon - I just thought it would be Tamiya who did it.
All the best

Hi Steffen
And about 1/4 of the price of a Tamiya version if they were to do one.
All the best

...there were a lot of rumors afloat about Revell bringing out a 1:32 He-219. Finally it is official and a lot of forum threads can be closed

Hi Mal
Happy new year to you too! My Revell Kit of the year (so far) is the Ventura. We'll see if they throw in one or another reboxing over the year.
Ant, I think it is a version of the new tool B-17G. The modular approach of that kit speaks for that.
all the best
