Not so long ago I built the 48 revell PBY 5a Catalina, completed as a subject flown by #8 Communications Flight of the Royal Australian Air Force during the war, which was overall green. References do show that 2 such aircraft were used by the RAAF, sadly I only have a hard copy photo of this model as it is on loan [along with several others from my collection], to the Officer Training School at RAAF Base Williams, at Piont Cook here in Victoria Australia. It is 1 of several PBY's flown that were in a 'Non' standard finish.
Photo was taken prior to the fitting of the Flame Damper exhausts and finished nose turret.

Hi Rob

Do us a scan of your pic when you get it back. :-)

An overall green Cat should be quite a sight! :-)

All the best
