Hi all,
Yesterday I was able to finish off my 1/48 Tamiya Beaufighter with markings from the Green Ghost Squadron. Originally this was intending to be my entry in the Zerstorer campaign but just ran out of time....
Weathered this one a bit and used Mig pigments to dust her up as per some photo's I have seen of this particular aircraft.
Kit was great and I added Red Roo Rockets which are much finer than the kit ones. I also used an Ultracast seat set inside.
I hope you like it.
Cheers from downunder,
Mark

Mark,
You did a great job on weathering which really makes a big difference in achieving a realistic look. Great model mate.

Mark, great build and weathering but just one little thing, your wing tip nav lights are round the wrong way, red to port (left) and green to Starboard (right)
Your not the first nor will you be the last to get this arse about face, an easy way to remember is all the short words go together and all the long words like wise, but hay still a great build.

Lovely work Mark, the weathering looks great. Must build myself one of these one day, though in 1/72

Good job on that Beaufighter Mark. An aircraft that did good service but doesn't get the attention of say the Mosquito. Thanks for sharing it with us. Russell

Solid colour can be so challenging to make eye-catching but you succeeded!

Beautiful! I must try something similar in 1/72.
