Hi All
Im a little confused. I bought the 1:72 scale Tornado GR1 (04619) and Have been happily cracking on with the build when I noticed there are two under wing stores which have been included in the kit. the distructions indicate that these parts are shaded out on the diagram showing the lay out of the sprues, these are indicated as "parts not for use".
three questions spring to mind
1) what are these parts (and what would the real ones be for).
2) whay are they included in the kit
and
3) why are they not for use?
any advice greatly appreciated
Mark

The same basic kit (with appropriate decals and a few additions) has been marketed as and can be built as a GR.1, and IDS or an ECR. Without wishing to sound too authoritative, I'd say those are parts that would not be seen on a GR.1 but would be appropriate for one of the other versions.
According to the instructions for the ECR, 107 is an ECM pod.
I think 99-102 are bits for a "buddy" refueling pod.
Someone more in the know may have a better answer.
