Hi,
Posting a few pictures of my latest build, a Su-22M4, '734' from Marinefliegergeschwader 28.
I made it using Eduard's 1/48 Su-22M4, with a few photo etched and scratch built parts and add-ons.
The NVA decals are a mix from TOM and Cutting Edge. It was not easy to find relevant pictures of the camouflage or colour pattern from 734's operational era, so it is more or less made up. I used several different shades and mixed hard and soft edges to simulate the different grades of repaint made by the mechanics.
Figures are from CMK and the weaponry is a mix of Eduard and Quickboost items.
The tarmac is made by 3wiredesign with a tiny strip of grass added. Justin made a great job with the rather poor pictures I sent him, well done
Thanks for looking.
Cheers
/Fred

Extremely engaging, I looked at it for quite some time. i love that you displayed it fully loaded and with airbrakes open etc, making it look as 'prickly' as possible. Really brings out the Fitter's looks.

Hi folks,
Thank you for all your kind comments
I really like the odd and quite rough look of this WP Fighter Bomber. Normally when one look at pictures of planes that is not involved in a direct conflict situation the payloads are pretty sparse. For this one I decided to go for it anyway and attach some decent weaponry. I'm glad you liked it.
Just knowing that you are checking out the details has inspired me to attach some more ground equipment and figures to this vignette. I will dig into my spare parts box and bring out the Paint Killer.

As I said in my last post your comments inspired me to add a few extra details to my SU-22, and so I have.
The new Eduard bomb trolley is added (a beautiful kit), an NVA Officer made from a Tamiya kit straight out of the box and third mechanic. The later is a slightly modified Haswgawa figure. The cones comes from an old ESCI kit.
Cheers!
